Henry Hazlitt (1894–1993) was a journalist who wrote for the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Newsweek, and the American Mercury, among other publications. He was the founding vice president of the Foundation for Economic Education and helped edit its revived version of the Freeman. He wrote more than two dozen books but is best remembered for his popular Economics in One Lesson.
